James Dooley: The best SEO experts to subscribe to on YouTube. Today I'm joined with Karl Hudson and we're going to discuss what SEO specialists we should be following on YouTube. I'll let you kick start it off. Who would you look to subscribe to if you're new to SEO or you're an advanced SEO already? Karl Hudson: Personally I would always start with one of the OGs of the industry, Matt Diggity. His videos are really high quality. He explains things in a really good way. Especially if you're a newbie. It's a good way to enter SEO and get your feet on the floor. I definitely recommend Matt Diggity. Big shout out. James Dooley: For sure. He's got a great YouTube channel. For me, Authority Hacker. Gael Breton and Mark Webster. Two completely great guys. The production is great, the knowledge is always advanced, and they've got an amazing training course. Massive shout out to them both. They do a great job for the SEO community. Karl Hudson: From personal experience I’d go for Ahrefs. Ahrefs do a very good YouTube channel. Very descriptive. A lot is tailored around their tool but they go into general SEO knowledge as well. Utilising their tool will help you do things quicker. Their production is really high quality. James Dooley: For sure. Sometimes when I'm watching Ahrefs videos even I didn’t realise some of the stuff you could do. That’s good. While we're on companies, I'd recommend ODYS Global. They’ve got a mentorship programme and a big podcast that gets a lot of different people’s views, not just about aged domains but everything SEO related. I strongly recommend subscribing to ODYS Global. Karl Hudson: Following on again from a company point of view, I'd say Niche Pursuits. Spencer Haws. Absolutely fantastic podcast and YouTube channel. He’s always testing different things. He’s had successful SaaS sales in the past. Definitely worth following him. James Dooley: For sure. I'm going to throw Julian Goldie into the mix. He does a lot with AI, different topics on how you can make money, how you can scale quickly. He’s very active. New videos pretty much every day. He covers grey hat, black hat, white hat techniques. I definitely recommend subscribing to Julian Goldie. Karl Hudson: I’d say he’s also just a really nice guy. Never met someone with a bad word to say about him. The next guy on my list sadly isn’t as nice. He’s a pain in my backside. But I still love him like a brother. James, I’d have to say you’re probably one of the guys I’d suggest following. You’ve been hammering YouTube the last twelve months. Your growth has been huge. You cover mindset, business mindset, lifestyle and SEO interviews. Number one SEO on YouTube. James Dooley: Cheers. I’m going to return the favour. Karl Hudson has been a lot more active. He's founded and built successful brands. Now he’s realising personal branding is important. I’d definitely recommend following Karl Hudson on YouTube. He covers backlinks, SEO, topical authority, business and lifestyle. Karl Hudson: The next guy is Kyle Roof. He’s got a story for everything. Easy to understand. Great for beginners and advanced SEOs. He pushes the envelope. James Dooley: Because people say I look slightly Turkish I’m going to go with Koray Tugberk Gübür. He’s got an amazing YouTube channel about semantic SEO, topical authority, contextual vectors and entities. Very advanced. He sends me to sleep most nights listening to him. He shares amazing information. Karl Hudson: Next on my list is Charles Floate. Well known in the industry. Very much known as a black hat SEO but I’d argue he’s more grey hat now. He’s always up to date on algorithm updates. He tests a lot. Definitely worth following. James Dooley: If you’re going from someone nice I’ll go with someone not so nice. Kasra Dash. He works seven days a week. Fourteen hours a day. He’s hustling every single day and pushing boundaries. He’s very active. A new video every day. He does a lot of testing. Definitely subscribe to Kasra Dash. Karl Hudson: The next guy is Jason Hennessy. He’s not as active but usually high quality content. He’s got a great book. Easy to understand SEO. Very focused on local SEO. He owns Hennessy Digital. James Dooley: I’m going to throw Craig Campbell in there. An absolute legend. Helped so many people. He does a lot of testing. He has multiple sites and shares data. Very advanced SEO. Definitely follow Craig Campbell. Karl Hudson: The next is Mad Singers. He’s not as high level on SEO but he’s top level on business management. He teaches people how to be better managers and grow past the one man band stage. Top expert to follow for business mindset. James Dooley: For sure. He’s helped me a lot with scaling and team culture. I’m going back to one of the OGs, Nathan Gotch. Great podcast. Always ahead of the game. Definitely follow Nathan Gotch for SEO. Karl Hudson: Next is Jason Mills. He runs Affiliate School. Lots of case studies. Great detail. You can learn as you go. High quality production. James Dooley: Last but not least, SEO Jesus. Stuart Vickers. He posts regularly. Good quality videos. He brings people on for interviews. He’s part of testing groups. Covers black hat, grey hat and white hat techniques. A good all round SEO. Karl Hudson: We hope you like the list of channels to subscribe to on YouTube. We could be here all day adding more, but we kept it short and sweet.
