So we know exactly what type of strategies work and what type of strategies you should avoid. In this video, we are going to break down all of the different strategies. So, James, take it away. James Dooley: Step number one, what I would be looking to do to grow is a Google Business Profile. If you already have one, I would be reaching out to all my existing clients to get as many five star reviews as possible. It is a great way for a Google Business Profile to generate more leads. There is also getting citations, doing Google Business Profile posts and uploading photos. So that is definitely step one to generate more local leads. Kasra Dash: Step number two is to bolster your Google Business Profile by creating dedicated service pages for each individual service as SEO optimised pages on your website. The good thing is that when you start doing that, it helps rank your SEO page. There is also a higher chance of your Google Business Profile ranking and showing up for those keywords. So you indirectly get more phone calls as well. James Dooley: If you want more local leads, another option is PPC lead generation. That is pay per click within Google or Bing where you target bottom of funnel keywords to generate more enquiries. The difficult part is you need a good PPC agency. There is click fraud. You also need a negative keyword list so you avoid job seekers and irrelevant clicks. PPC can work well, but in the wrong hands you can waste a lot of money. Kasra Dash: Then you have meta ads like Facebook and Instagram. The next time somebody goes on Facebook, they might be scrolling and see your ad. You have two main options. Option A is lead forms, which are very easy to run and keep the user on Facebook. The downside is the quality might not be great, though you can add more questions to improve it. Posting regularly on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest and Instagram works well. Reddit and Quora are big too if you can answer questions. Organic social media is a great way to generate more local leads. Kasra Dash: With organic social media, it is a volume game. You must upload consistently, whether on a daily schedule or weekly schedule. You might set a target of five videos per week. Sticking to that is important for algorithms like YouTube and Twitter. James Dooley: What are your thoughts on using AI agents? For example, teaming up with someone to use N8N to automate and schedule social media posts. Everyone is talking about artificial intelligence for lead generation. Would you work with an AI consultant to set that up? Kasra Dash: You can definitely set up AI agents to crop videos and autopublish to YouTube, Facebook and Twitter. Another thing I would focus on is AI search. People are slowly starting to search in engines like ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Grok. If your brand is not showing up in any of those, you will have an issue generating leads on those platforms. James Dooley: If you are looking for more business leads in the local area, you can also team up with tradespeople websites. That includes Checkatrade, Bark, Builder Builder, TrustATrader and Rated People. All these platforms can generate more local leads. You must track KPIs to see your return on investment. Track cost per lead, cost per acquisition and your ROI. These tradespeople platforms can work very well. We used to think five minutes was good. Then we saw that responding within one minute massively increased conversions. James Dooley: Not every company needs to respond in under a minute, but it is one of the things we look at when partnering with businesses.
