**Kasra Dash:** If you are a HVAC business and you want a consistent flow of enquiries, this video is for you. James Dooley and I have worked with many HVAC companies across the UK, so we know which marketing strategies work and which ones you should avoid. We are going to break everything down in this video. James Dooley, take it away. **James Dooley:** Step one would be your Google Business Profile. If you already have one, reach out to your existing clients and collect as many five star reviews as possible. A strong Google Business Profile is one of the best ways to generate more leads. You should also build citations, publish Google posts and upload photos. That is always the first thing I would do to increase local enquiries. **Kasra Dash:** Step two builds on that. You should create dedicated service pages for each HVAC service you offer as SEO optimised pages on your website. When you do this, the pages rank better but your Google Business Profile is also more likely to appear for those keywords. That means more phone calls. **James Dooley:** Exactly. If you want more local leads, PPC lead generation is another route. That means pay per click on Google or Bing, targeting bottom of the funnel keywords to generate enquiries. You must work with a good PPC agency because click fraud exists and you need a strong negative keyword list so you do not waste money on job seekers. PPC can work very well, but in the wrong hands you can burn money fast. It is still a valid lead source. **Kasra Dash:** Then you have Meta ads on Facebook and Instagram. Someone scrolling might see your ad and enquire. You can run lead form ads where users stay on Facebook. The downside is weaker lead quality, but you can add qualifying questions. You also have conversion ads that send people to your website to fill out a contact form. Both approaches work. **James Dooley:** Another method is organic social media. Posting regularly on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest and Instagram can bring in HVAC leads. Reddit and Quora are also strong because people ask questions and you can answer them. Organic social can be a powerful channel when used properly. **Kasra Dash:** Organic social is a volume game. You need consistent uploads. You might set a schedule of five videos a week. Stick to it. Platforms like YouTube and Twitter reward consistency. **James Dooley:** What do you think about using AI agents? Some businesses team up with consultants to automate posting, crop videos and publish content through tools like N8N. Artificial intelligence is everywhere now in lead generation. Would you recommend it? **Kasra Dash:** Yes. AI agents can crop videos, repurpose content and autopublish to YouTube, Facebook and Twitter. Another important thing is AI search. People are slowly shifting away from Google. Not everyone, but more users are searching on ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Groq. If your HVAC brand is not showing up on those platforms, you will miss out on leads. Companies need to optimise for AI search engines as well. **James Dooley:** If you want more local leads, you can also join tradespeople websites. Checkatrade, Bark, Builder Builder, TrustATrader and Rated People all generate HVAC enquiries. Track your KPIs. Look at cost per lead, cost per acquisition and ROI. These platforms work well if you manage them properly. We also have videos comparing Checkatrade with FatRank, Bark with FatRank, Rated People with FatRank and Builder Builder with FatRank. I mentioned FatRank a few times. What are your thoughts on lead generation companies compared to tradesperson platforms? **Kasra Dash:** With lead generation companies, you must do your due diligence. Make sure the company has real experience generating HVAC leads. Have a strategy call and share your budget and the number of leads you want. Confirm whether the leads are exclusive. Many platforms like Bark and Checkatrade send shared leads. When James Dooley and I speak to business owners, the biggest frustration is that shared leads create a race to the bottom on price. These are the questions you need to ask before partnering with any lead generation company. **James Dooley:** If anyone wants more HVAC leads, visit FatRank.com. We run a commission based lead generation service. You only pay a finder’s fee on converted jobs. You pay nothing per lead. You pay nothing upfront. You only pay when the job is completed and you have been paid. Head to FatRank.com to see if you qualify. Let’s go further. What are your thoughts on inbound lead generation versus outbound lead generation? **Kasra Dash:** I always prefer inbound. The conversion rate is far higher. The last statistic I saw showed around 16.1 percent of inbound leads convert into paying customers, compared to 1.4 percent for outbound leads. The difference is huge. **James Dooley:** That is ten to twelve times higher conversion. Outbound requires massive volume. Cold calling, cold email and LinkedIn outreach all need staff and systems. People think it is free, but you still pay for tools and sales teams. Inbound is far more efficient. Some HVAC companies also ask about real time leads. How important is it that enquiries come through instantly? **Kasra Dash:** It matters a lot. The last internal stat showed real time leads convert around 63 percent higher. When we tracked KPIs, replying within one minute improved conversions massively. People once thought five minutes was fast, but one minute is far better. When an enquiry comes in, you should call or email straight away. Not every company needs a one minute response time, but at FatRank we see many fall short. They go on holiday and nobody checks leads for days. We still send leads but they go unanswered. These details matter when scaling. The best thing any HVAC company can do is fill out the form on FatRank. The team will tell you if you are the right fit. If not, they will explain why and what to do next. **James Dooley:** We hope these lead generation strategies for HVAC businesses help. If you are serious about growing your HVAC company, head to FatRank.com and we can help you generate more HVAC leads across the UK.
