What Does “The Benefits of Joining a Private AI Community with Julian Goldie” Talk About?

This episode of the Fatrank Podcast features James Dooley in conversation with Julian Goldie, the founder of AI Profit Boardroom, exploring the real-world benefits of joining a private, paid AI community. The two discuss how membership in a curated group saves time through ready-made templates and workflows, and how the paid barrier naturally filters out low-quality participants, leaving only serious, motivated members. James draws a direct analogy to the casino industry, where free players deliver poor value compared to those who invest even a small amount, reinforcing the idea that financial commitment changes the calibre of everyone in the room.

The conversation goes deeper than just tools and tactics, touching on the networking and relationship-building that happens inside communities like AI Profit Boardroom. James shares that he personally found two new business partners and several freelancers through the group, and both hosts emphasise the emotional and motivational value of being surrounded by people who genuinely understand agentic AI workflows. Julian highlights the joy of sharing wins with a tribe that truly gets what you have accomplished, something that is rarely possible with family or friends outside the AI space. The episode also references a FatRank listicle that split-tested 27 different AI communities, with AI Profit Boardroom ranked number one.

“People are there to grow their business. People are there to make more money and get more revenue. And so, by being part of an AI community like this, you're going to make more money by osmosis simply because you're learning, you're growing, you're in that competitive environment where you're all raising each other up and helping each other level up too.”

What Are the Key Takeaways From “The Benefits of Joining a Private AI Community with Julian Goldie”?

Here are the key points discussed in this episode:

  • Paid AI communities naturally filter out low-quality participants because financial investment signals genuine motivation, resulting in a higher calibre of members than free groups.
  • Ready-made templates and workflows inside a private AI community like AI Profit Boardroom can save members hours of setup time by allowing them to start with a single click rather than building from scratch.
  • High-level networking within a paid AI community can lead to concrete business outcomes, including finding business partners, hiring skilled freelancers, and forming lasting professional relationships.
  • Being surrounded by peers who understand advanced AI concepts such as agentic workflows creates an environment where members can share wins, receive meaningful feedback, and stay motivated in ways that outside social circles cannot provide.
  • Diversifying digital marketing strategies across brand SEO, organic social, paid ads, Reddit, Quora, and paid AI ads is essential for AI communities looking to improve lead quality and sustain long-term growth into 2026.

“When you're part of a private community where people are investing in themselves to be there and they're seriously motivated to learn and grow, well, all of a sudden you're filtering out the time-wasters. You're filtering out the bad influences that aren't really serious, and you're meeting people who are really in the game.”

James Dooley: What are the benefits of joining a private AI community? Today I'm joined with Julian Goldie, the founder of AI Profit Boardroom. Not only has he won many awards and he's an award-winning AI community, he's also getting shout-outs from people like Alex Hormozi himself. Legend of legends to hear that, Julian. So anyway, AI Profit Boardroom. What are the benefits of someone who is not yet subscribed to join an AI community like AI Profit Boardroom?

Julian Goldie: Yeah. So number one, you're going to save time. Like, if you know exactly where to look and, let's say, you get one of our templates or workflows inside the Profit Boardroom, it's like, "Wow, okay, I don't need to spend five hours setting up. I just click a button and we're ready to go." So that helps a lot. And then also, just meeting and connecting with amazing people. You know, you're going to find the next person that you partner with. You're going to find amazing people that inspire you. You're going to make friends for life. And I think that's a huge benefit to being part of an AI community that you wouldn't find anywhere else. And one of the other things I would say is, like, it filters out the serious people. You know, like, when you're part of a private community where people are investing in themselves to be there and they're seriously motivated to learn and grow, well, all of a sudden you're filtering out the time-wasters. You're filtering out the bad influences that aren't really serious, and you're meeting people who are really in the game, you know, really focused on making this work.

James Dooley: Yeah, for sure. I mean, the minute people join, like, a free group, it's the same with, like, we do quite a bit of casino, and the minute we get a free kind of player that wants the no deposit, the player value is terrible. And the minute you go and turn it into being, you just need to pay a little bit, the difference of the calibre of player in casino is massive. And I can completely agree with what you're saying there. The minute it turns into a paid group instead of a free group, the calibre of people are so much better. And everyone wants to justify the money that they've paid. So they want to be trying to be active. They want to try and share their wins because they know others are then going to share their wins. For me, what's been incredible with AI Profit Boardroom, I've got two new business partners from within there. I've gone and done some outsourcing and used one or two freelancers to say, "Okay, I don't want to build the site myself. I want someone to come and build the site." And they're, like, saying, "Oh, well, I'm going to use it in Claude Code. I'm going to do it this way, this way and this way." I'm like, "Whatever you think's best, as long as you give me this desired output, that's brilliant. That's what I want." So, and like you said, I found some friends. Like, there's some people there that I just love talking artificial intelligence with. So it's more than just trying to stay ahead of the curve. You're actually networking with really high-level people from a community. And that's what I think the main benefits of a paid AI community is. Like, the amount of groups I did join that was free and there's, like, 100 people in there and there's just too much noise. There's just too many people saying stuff, and I'm like, "I don't even think you've ever tested that." But in this group, there's only... There's, like, at present, there's under, let's say, 10,000 members, but they're all really high-level. And I love the idea that they kind of will argue if they do believe that there's a better way. And you can sit back and go, "What's better in X or Y?" and learn from that. And you get both SOPs because there's more than one way to do it. But for me, there's so many benefits. And, if anything, I think you're too cheap. I've said this to you before, Julian. I think it should be $500 a month. Um, and, like, I think, I think what you... The calibre of people you're getting in is so high. People are coming, they're getting all the SOPs. Like, people are willing to spend $2,000 for an AI consultant for one hour. Here, they're getting unlimited time with thousands of amazing people. Like, it should be 10X the price. And obviously, I know you want to keep it low because I know you want to keep... To help the community and elevate everybody else and stuff like that. But, like, for me, the AI Profit Boardroom is the best there is out there. Anyone who's watching this, check out the link in the description. We split-test 27 different AI communities. Um, there's a page on there, a listicle on FatRank that goes through them all. Um, obviously, Julian, we put yourself there as number one. But is there any other benefits that you think I've missed there of why they should be joining AI Profit Boardroom?

Julian Goldie: Yeah, 100%. I think it's fun to learn and be part of a community. Like, when you can share your wins, where, you know, like, if I was back in England and I'm in a little village in Lancaster, there's not many people I could boast about building something amazing with Claude Fable 5 to. But when you're in a community and you're in a room where people get you and they understand you better than maybe anyone else in the world because they're all part of the same tribe, all of a sudden it's fun. And you can share wins and people understand you, and you have that similarity between you. And then also, I would say, like, you know, people are there to grow their business. People are there to make more money and get more revenue. And so, by being part of an AI community like this, you're going to make more money by osmosis simply because you're learning, you're growing, you're in that competitive environment where you're all raising each other up and helping each other level up too.

James Dooley: Yeah, I love that about the tribe because, at times, if you're speaking to, like, family members or school friends or football friends or people you go out with for a weekend, they don't get it. They don't even know what AI... They think AI is just prompting ChatGPT and getting answers, and they don't realise these whole agentic AI workflows of what can be done. So when you're using things like you mentioned there, like Fable 5, and you go and build something out, when you're in the AI Profit Boardroom, everyone's high-fiving you. "Well done. That's brilliant." And they understand what you're talking about. Sometimes I go out with my friends over the weekend, I'm talking about it, and they're like, "What are you going on about? Like, shut up." Do you know what I mean? And you're, like, you're desperate to tell someone. And that group allows that fun and excitement of being able to go, "I'm proud of this, and I'm proud to split-test this, and this and this works better." So yeah, for me, there's so many benefits. Um, anyone who's watching this, check out the links in the description. There's one or two other episodes that I go through with Julian about how to stay ahead of the curve and how to make certain you're maximising, if you do join an AI community, what you should and shouldn't be doing. Julian, it's been an absolute pleasure.
